Managing Director - Investment Banking

England & Company Corporate Advisory (Asia) is seeking additional senior investment bankers to provide strategic advisory services to corporate and institutional investor clients based in the Asia-Pacific Region. The firm is an affiliate of England & Company, an established investment bank based in the United States.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in:

• Developing new client relationships in geographic, targeted industry, and/or product sectors.
• Acting as strategic advisor to clients, enabling them to achieve their long-term goals.
• Identifying, originating, and executing M&A, capital raising, and other strategic transactions.
• Contributing to team development and participating in in cross-border marketing with colleagues at the firm.

England & Company provides strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, and private financing transactions to privately held and public companies throughout the United States and internationally. Investment banking activities in the United States are provided through England Securities, LLC (member FINRA / SIPC).

The opportunity exists in Singapore with the primary focus of helping to develop the firm’s presence in Southeast Asia.

Requirements

We are looking for an accomplished professional with a proven track record of originating and executing investment banking transactions (typically S$50m - S$750m), individually generating advisory / transaction fees averaging over S$3m annually.

Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years of directly relevant experience at a highly regarded investment banking firm and established relationships with key decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, and PE & VC investors) in Southeast Asia.

In addition to excellent professional credentials and experience working with privately held and public companies, we will consider only those professionals who demonstrate unquestionable integrity, an entrepreneurial drive, and a collegial spirit. England is team-oriented; Managing Directors will be asked to collaborate with other MDs, especially on larger transactions, as well as provide insight and support on internal strategy discussions and overall firm operations.
